Hypertension as a result of an increase in arachidonic acid (AA) ω-hydroxylase (20-HETE synthesis) activity of cytochrome P450s CYP4A, CYP4F, and CYP1B1 is well established. Thus, 20-HETE has become a biomarker and therapeutic target for hypertension and stroke. This ELISA kit is suitable for measuring 20-HETE in up to 24 biological samples in-triplicate.
